Book Circulation

Members meet only once a year, on the first Monday of October, to pay the annual book fee of $30 and collect the first book. We try to select recent publications of enjoyable, interesting and thought-provoking books in a variety of subjects and styles. Thereafter, books are circulated approximately monthly, and at the end of the year members participate in a draw to choose a book to keep.   New members are very welcome, but must notify a convenor before September 6th: Helen Spencer & Gwyneth Westwick

Library e-books and audiobooks

Meanwhile, we would like to remind all FWC members that many books are available in e-book form, through the Vancouver Public Library. Their website has instructions on how to access these books.

Alternatively, there is another website, www.libbyapp.com, which will recognize Vancouver Public Library as your library, and accept your VPL library card number and the PIN you use for the library. You can then browse and borrow books and audiobooks. One person who experimented with this website reports having found the Libby site very user-friendly. The Libby App is also very user friendly.
